Our accommodations are located only 20 minutes from Sierra at Tahoe Ski Resort and 30 minutes from South Lake Tahoe. Or head the other direction and visit the historic Gold Rush towns along the western Sierra Nevada. The Sierra Inn is a top choice for hikers as they launch into Desolation Wilderness.

Our rooms have either two beds (queen and full) or a king; all with modern amenities including AC, TV with DirecTV, mini-fridges, and microwaves. All rooms are pet friendly. A one-time pet fee of $40 will be charged (covers multiple pets and multiple nights).

- Check in time: 3:00PM. Early check in may be available depending on your date of stay.
- Check out time: 11:00 AM. Late check out may be available depending on your date of stay.
- Deposit Policy: Full amount of reservation due at time of arrival.
- Cancellation Policy: 24 hours prior to arrival to receive a full refund.
- Pet Policy: A one-time pet fee of $40 will be charged (covers multiple pets and multiple nights). Additional cleaning or damage charges may apply. All pets must be attended to at all times.
- All rates are subject to state and local taxes.
- Damage or Theft Policy: We reserve the right to charge guests the cost of rectifying damage or theft, caused by the deliberate, negligent or reckless act of the guest to the hotel’s premises or property. Should this damage come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to make a charge to the guest’s credit / debit card. We will however make every effort to rectify any damage internally prior to contracting specialists to make the repairs, and therefore will make every effort to keep any costs that the guest would incur to a minimum.
- We are a natural environment property. Please use caution on rocks, near or in the river, and throughout the property.

- For your convenience and to support our sustainability efforts, we service guest rooms upon request. There is a sign posted in the lobby with this information, and our front desk team is always happy to arrange housekeeping at any time during your stay. Please feel free to request additional towels, water, and other amenity items at the front desk as well.
- There are not too many dining options near the Inn at this time. The Bunny Slope Café is open at the Kyburz Lodge next door Friday, Saturday, and Sunday mornings and Friday and Saturday nights (as a tavern, no restaurant). Check hours at https://www.bunnyslopecafe.com. We have bbq pits and picnic tables, or bring your own grill, and enjoy grilling on the river. Pollack Pines, 15 miles west of Kyburz, is the closest town with restaurant options.
